Mounted on tree bark and surrounded by dried flowers and snail shells, this Indonesian long jaw beetle is an A1 specimen of his species. His natural colouring changes in the light, showing off deep mahogany and even slight hues of deep purple.
Don't get too close though - this little guy is a fighter!
