Deaths-head moth Curiosity dome
Deaths-head moth Curiosity dome
This Deaths-head moth curiosity dome is the perfect addition to any bug-lovers collection. With its distinctive skull shaped markings, the Deaths-head moth has become a cult favorite amongst those with a fascination with the stranger side of life.
This particular moth was actually disabled in life, as his wings never developed fully, so he never had the chance to fly under the moonlight, but we don't hold that against him. we think he's beautiful just the way he is!
Accompanying our Deaths-head moth is a lovely example of an Orange lantern fly, originally from Indonesia. On first inspection, these bugs are plain-janes, but once they open their wings, they reveal a stunning under-wing of reds, oranges, blacks and whites.
Bugs are mounted on tree bark, and surrounded by reindeer moss and a raw quartz crystal.
Dome stands at 17cm high and 8cm wide
